Phoebe J Yung is a producer and creative consultant based in Los Angeles.
Born and raised on the East Coast, she earned her BFA in Film & Television from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
Her production degree was coupled with internship experiences across creative development, TV programming, sales, acquisitions, and global distribution during internships at companies including Fremantle, AMC Networks, NBCUniversal, and the Sundance Institute.
She is a recent alumna of the CBS Leadership Pipeline Challenge and The Reel Champions’ Next Gen: Executive Diversity Mentorship Program.
She also oversees digital campaigns, social media sustain, event rollouts, and everything in between as the Director of Creative Strategy at Sonder Pictures, a non-profit production company built by and for emerging filmmakers.
As a storyteller, she loves creating coming-of-age, surrealist, and sometimes, horror films that address complex family relationships, explore cultural themes, and bring AAPI-centered narratives and characters to the forefront.
Phoebe worked on all theatrical releases at Paramount Pictures from Transformers One through By Any Means, supporting the EVP of Global Marketing and SVPs of Marketing Strategy for the past two years prior to joining her current workplace, Black Bear Pictures as a marketing coordinator.
